Hi Scott,
Thank you for your detailed feedback and for installing the latest version (2.4.2) of the Anchored VWAP indicator.
Regarding your first point about the VWAP continuing beyond the set end date and time when using custom dates and live update, this is actually the intended behaviour. The purpose of the live update mode is to keep extending the VWAP in real time as new bars arrive. In this mode, the indicator deliberately overrides the custom end time to always use the latest bar. The previous behaviour you saw in older versions may have been unintentional, and the current logic ensures the VWAP dynamically reflects the live market.
If you would prefer the VWAP to strictly stop at a fixed end time, you can disable live update and still use custom dates or the draggable lines instead.
On your second point about the "Hide Lines" setting, you are absolutely right that the setting currently toggles visibility for both the vertical lines and, in some scenarios, may also result in the VWAP not displaying as expected. This is not by design, and we will look into separating this into two settings: one for hiding the anchor lines and another for hiding the VWAP itself. This should help avoid confusion and improve usability.
We will review both of these areas in a future update. In the meantime, if you could post this as a feature suggestion on our forum at https://clickalgo.info/t/product-suggestions
That would help us track it properly and prioritise it with other user requests. Thanks again for taking the time to share this. We really appreciate your input.
Best regards
Mike
